Editorial
Environmental factors contribute to 12.6 million deaths globally, accounting for 23% of global burden of disease. Majority of these deaths occur in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) of Asia and Africa. Incidentally, 8.2 million of these deaths are due to non-communicable diseases (NCDs).
